User Guide Frequently Asked Questions.

What are the uses of Iron, Gold, and Oil Mines?

Iron, Gold, and Oil Mines are used in the production of every construction, research, and unit in the world of Platoon. As you upgrade your buildings and research, you will need more resources.

What do the values in the Energy section represent?

The two values in the Energy section indicate the amount of energy you need and the amount of energy you produce. Iron Mines, Gold Mines, and Oil Refineries require energy to operate, and you can generate the required energy using Hydroelectric and Thermal Power Plants. The value on the left represents the required energy amount, and the value on the right represents the amount of energy you produce. If the produced energy is less than the required energy, your production capacity decreases, and the production of Iron, Gold, and Oil decreases.

Do I need to keep my browser open for my productions to continue?

No, it is not necessary. Even if you close your browser or log out of your account, your productions and attacks will continue, and other players can still attack you and perform other alliance actions.

What do the Blue and Orange requirements in Construction, Research, and Unit Production represent?

Every structure, research, and unit in Platoon can be produced when certain conditions are met. These conditions may include resource requirements such as Iron, Gold, and Oil mines, or they can be related to a specific building or research. For example, a research may require the construction of a science laboratory up to a certain level, or a unit may require the research to be upgraded to a certain level. The Blue descriptions below Construction, Research, War Factory, and Defense units indicate the required Construction level and its level, while the Orange descriptions indicate the required Research level and its level.

When I cancel a construction, why don't I get back all the resources I spent?

When you start a construction, research, or unit production, only 70% of the Iron, Gold, and Oil resources you used are returned when you cancel that construction, production, or research. This rule is established as a sort of payment for the players who gave the order to produce in order to prevent them from losing the resources in the region in case of a possible attack.

There are passive units in the Construction, Research, War Factory, and Defense sections, why?

Every construction, research, and unit has certain requirements for its production or construction. These requirements are specified below the respective unit. If these requirements are not met, the unit appears as passive.

What is the purpose of the Production section?

Resources such as Iron, Gold, and Oil that you produce in your region require energy. If your energy level is lower than the required energy level of these production facilities and your resources are not enough to upgrade the Energy-producing plant, you can balance your energy usage by reducing the level of less needed productions without affecting the production of resources you need more.

Can I have multiple regions?

Yes, in the later stages of the game, you can produce a Mobile Construction vehicle and send it to an empty region on the map by giving the command "Seize the Region" to capture that empty region.

How many different regions can I have?

You can have a total of 5 separate regions, including the initial region.

How can I view the Weapon Power, Shield, and other properties of units?

On the War Factory, Defense, or Alliance Management pages, if you click on the name of a unit you want to see the details of, a window will open providing detailed information about that unit. You can use the same feature for Buildings and Research as well.

Do I need to research separately for each of my regions?

A research you perform in one of your regions applies to all the regions you own. You do not need to perform the same research separately in each region.

I sent a Spy Plane to another player's region, but my spy plane didn't return. Why?

For a spy attempt to be successful, the spying player must have a higher Spy level than the defending player. If the spying player's Spy level is lower than the defending player's Spy level, the success of the operation depends on chance. Therefore, even if your Spy level is low, there is a slight possibility that the operation will be successful.

It takes a long time for my units to reach a region I sent them to. Why?

Every mobile unit in the game has a speed limit. The distance you send your units and the speed of the slowest unit in that group determine how long it will take for them to reach that region. When selecting units for a group, you should pay attention to their speeds. If you send a very fast unit together with a very slow unit, your group will move at the speed of the slowest unit, resulting in a longer time to reach the region. Additionally, as you increase your Motor technology, the speed of your units also increases, so you should continuously upgrade your Motor technology.

Should I build defense systems in my region?

The rule "the best defense is offense" also applies to the Brigade, but defense systems have certain advantages. For example, Air Defense systems are crucial to prevent rapid espionage attempts when there are no mobile units in your region. Additionally, defense systems are easier to produce and have more ammunition compared to mobile units. Most importantly, defense units are automatically repaired and restored to their original state if the necessary research has been completed.

What is Experience Points?

Experience Points are points earned after battles. Both sides gaining losses after a battle will give experience points to the opposing side. Experience Points serve as a reputation indicator and also affect the success rate in subsequent battles. A player with high experience points has a higher chance of winning a battle.

How are Experience Points calculated?

Several factors are taken into account when calculating Experience Points. The damage you inflict on the opposing side and whether you win or lose the battle affect the calculation of the experience points earned. For example, assuming both sides have an equal number and type of units, if the attacking side wins the battle due to higher Armor and Weapon research, the winning side will receive higher experience points than the losing side. The production cost of the units you destroy is used in calculating the earned experience points. The more units you destroy, the higher your experience points will be. If you lose the battle, you will receive fewer experience points, and if you win, you will receive more.

I won a battle, but I received 0 experience points. Why?

To earn experience points, you need to destroy a certain percentage of units after the battle. If you haven't destroyed enough units, you will not be awarded experience points.

What do the colors on the map and score table represent?

The colors on the map and score table indicate the difference between players. Here are the explanations for these colors.

I'm under attack. How can I see which units are included in the attacker's force?

Under normal circumstances, you cannot see the units in an incoming attack. However, if your Spy level is higher than the level of the attacking player, you can launch a espionage operation on the attacker's region and see their moving units. This way, you can estimate the content of the incoming force. Your Spy level needs to be at least level 5 for this.

  • Blue: Players who are new to the game or have less than 5000 points, which is 5 times less than your score, are shown in blue.
  • Red: Any opponent player in the game whom you can attack or who is much stronger than you is shown in red.
  • White: Your own account and region are shown in white.
  • Yellow: Players in the same Federation are shown in yellow.
  • Purple: Players who have gone on a 15-day vacation or have put their account in deletion mode are shown in purple. These players cannot be attacked, only rubble collection operations can be carried out.
  • Gray: Passive players are shown in gray. Passive players, even with low scores, are no longer under protection and can be attacked.
I want to take a break from the game, what can I do?

If you won't be able to access the game for a long period of time, you can put your account in Vacation Mode from the Settings menu. Once your account is in Vacation Mode, you won't be able to log in for 15 days, and other players won't be able to attack your region during this time. However, all production activities in your region will also stop during this period, and your resources won't increase until your account becomes active again.

Another player has insulted me through messages, what can I do?

As the Müfreze Online team, we have a strong stance against any form of insult. If a player insults you through messages, you can report it to us by clicking the Report button on the row where the player's name is located in the Score Table. Our moderation team will review the messages and, if necessary, impose penalties ranging from account suspension to permanent deletion for the player who insulted you.

Can multiple accounts access the game from the same IP address?

There is no restriction on multiple accounts accessing the game from the same IP address. However, it is prohibited for accounts opened on the same IP address to transfer resources to each other or launch imbalanced attacks solely for resource supply purposes. For example, if we detect suspicious resource transfers or attacks between two accounts accessed from the same IP address, we reserve the right to close your accounts.

What is the purpose of the Trade Center?

As mentioned earlier, Iron, Gold, and Oil are required for the construction, research, and production of units. If you need a resource that is lacking for a construction, research, or unit production, you can fulfill that need by trading the other resources you have at the Trade Center.

How are the exchange rates determined at the Trade Center?

Every resource spent in the game is transferred to the Trade Center, increasing its reserves. On the other hand, players cause these resources to decrease or increase with each trade transaction at the Trade Center. The ratio of the accumulated resources at the Trade Center determines the exchange rates.

After the war, the report shows that there is a rubble, can I collect this rubble?

Certainly, after a war, destroyed units create rubble, and every player can collect this rubble. To collect the rubble, you can send Cargo units to that region with the "Collect Rubble" mission, and you can collect as much resources as your cargo capacity allows.

My unit that I sent for the Collect Rubble mission returned empty-handed, why?

Rubble areas are visible and accessible to all players. Especially the owner of the region where the rubble is formed can collect it faster than other players. If another player collects the rubble in the region before your unit arrives, your unit will return empty-handed.

How can I protect myself from Cyber Sabotage Attacks?

To carry out Cyber Sabotage Attacks, the Cyber Sabotage Technology research is required. The research level of the player conducting the attack must be higher than the research level of the player being attacked. Therefore, by regularly upgrading your Cyber Sabotage Technology research, you can neutralize these attacks.

How can I obtain Discovery Loot?

Discovery Loot can be obtained by launching Discovery Expeditions to empty regions on the map. As a result of these expeditions, the game can randomly give any loot or the expedition can fail.
